SILNAM responding to the annual call of the Cancer Association to participate in the Apple project

SILNAM donated apples to the Moria Grace orphanage at Dolam in Katutura. We donated one apple to each orphan to promote healthy eating. We at SILNAM believe that healthy eating is not only a need for children but a right that we need treasure, irrespective of class, race, colour or background.

In response to the call of the Government, SILNAM donated an amount of N$ 50,000 to the Emergency Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office to help flood victims. SILNAM noted with concern this year’s flood disaster which is causing havoc in the northern part of the country and wish to sympathize with the people who are in difficult situation.

Since its operations, SILNAM has been closely associated with Polytechnic. This collaboration is a clear demonstration of our commitment for capacity building of and our dedication to improve the quality of life of the people of Namibia.

On a yearly basis, SILNAM rewards outstanding students and offers placements for Students from the Polytechnic for internship programs as part of their course of studies in the field of ICT. We encourage the Polytechnic to continuously revise their curricula to accommodate the new trends in the ICT industry and provide students the opportunity to acquaint themselves to the realities of the market so that we move further up the ladder of success and progress for our people.
